Meet up with fellow gardening enthusiasts and celebrate nature. Join the Friends of Birchfields Park for their monthly gardening sessions. The sessions take place on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

Join Bhangra dancer Hardeep Singh Sahota for this exciting family workshop. Learn more about the Indian folk dance as you learn some new dance moves. The workshop is suitable for all abilities. Children must be accompanied by a parent/ carer. Spaces must be booked in advance.  

Would you like to try Tai Chi? Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese art to strengthen both body and mind. It combines both deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movement. This is an age-friendly Tai Chi session suitable for people aged over 50.

Pop down to Platt Hall at Platt Fields Park to join the weekly gardening sessions. These sessions offer a great chance to be outside, enjoy nature and to meet fellow enthusiastic gardeners. Volunteer sessions take place every Tuesday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Sessions run until the end of October.
