There’s fun for all the family at the Play Day Festival in Whitworth Park.

This free, creative event is happening as part of the ‘Our Year’ programme of events for young people.

There are lots of child-friendly activities to enjoy at this community event. Expect face-painting, storytelling, crafts, circus skills, den building, bug hunts, a climbing wall, and much more.

For the little ones, Magic Light Pictures’ Pip and Posy will also be making a very special guest appearance.

This free community event is a great opportunity for children and their parents to come together, have fun, meet new friends, and discover the benefits of play.

Professionals from Manchester’s youth and play sector will be on hand with information and resources on how play can support your child’s development.

Enjoy DJ’s and entertainment all day. Refreshments will be provided.
