For 2022, Refugee Week runs from 20-26 June. And to mark the occasion, the People’s History Museum (PHM) will be holding a number of banner making workshops.

Led by the artist Ibukun Baldwin, workshop attendees will create their very own beautiful ‘Welcome Banner’. The banner will then be displayed in Central Library during Refugee Week.

This is a friendly, informal sewing workshop for adults. If you can, bring along a piece of fabric which symbolizes your cultural heritage and we can include this in the welcome banner.

Hot drinks and nibbles will be provided.
