Half Term at Great Northern

There are some brilliant activities for children at Great Northern this half term. All free, no need to book. Children  should be supervised by a parent or responsible adult

• Giant Sandpit and Wooden train play area. Bring along your own sand toys to play. Suitable for 0-10yrs.

• Ping Hub, great for a rainy day. Bat and Balls are available. All ages.

• Book Nook, a quiet space full of books, an opportunity to relax in the heart of the city. All ages.

• Little Northerners – Open daily 9-4. An unstaffed play space designed especially for babies and pre school children only. Baby change facilities (no toilet) are available at the back of the space.

• Creatures of Cottonopolis. Nature Trail. Collection point located outside little Northerners. This Trail is designed by all ages of children. There is also an edibles trail, bird spotting, and a scavenger hunt. Equipment is available at the collection point.

• The space also has picnic benches and a hydration station.
