A free exhibition from Manchester Hip Hop Archive in partnership with Spinningfields.
The exhibition on the ground floor unit of NCP on New Quay Street, celebrates the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop culture. It features 250+ items from the 1970s to present day. And encapsulates the evolution and impact of Hip Hop on the city’s artistic, social, and political landscape.

Open to the public from 12pm – 8pm every Thursday – Sunday from 24 August – 30 September. The collection includes clothing, photographs, records, sketchbooks, posters and flyers. It vividly showcases core elements of Hip Hop – emceeing, deejaying, breakin’ and graff.
