Get along to the People’s History Museum at half term during the SUPER DUPER Family Festival and build your own robot, inspired by the Deceptioncon robot costume which has recently made its home at the museum.

A whole host of colourful junk will be waiting, ready to be recycled into your own characterful junkbot!

Meet Deceptioncon in the museum foyer and discover how it was part of a campaign for workers’ rights, then head to the Playful Protest Space to create a junkbot. Take your new bot friend home or add it to the imaginary picket line!
