There are some fantastic, free ways to play, explore, experiment at the Science and Industry Museum on Play Day.

You will see science in action in the interactive gallery, Experiment. Make music with your body, get creative with glow-in-the-dark art, and test out a thermal camera.

Also enjoy fun games and challenges in the Textiles Gallery with a free activity guide. Get creative – build a textiles tower, try your hand at weaving or spin your body like a bobbin.

There are also world changing ideas in Revolution Manchester including one of the first Rolls-Royce cars, and ‘Baby’, a working replica of the Manchester Small-Scale Experimental Machine – the ancestor of every modern computer!

Plus, add a ticket to Power Up and get ready to play your way through the very best video games from the past five decades. Upgrade your ticket to an annual pass and get unlimited access to the ultimate gaming experience for a whole year.
