National Play Day 2025 is on Wednesday, 6 August. It’s a celebration of children’s right to play, and the vital benefits of play for children’s health, happiness, and creativity.

Children of all ages can get playful with fun activities – including arts and crafts, free play,team sports, outdoor adventures, and more.

The theme for 2025 is “Spaces for Play”, highlighting the importance of accessible and inclusive spaces where children can play freely and connect with their communities.
