Arcadia Library and Leisure Centre

With two swimming pools, a stylish gym, community studio, sauna and steam room and a neighbourhood library, Arcadia Library and Leisure Centre offers a combined workout for your body and your brain.

The impressive centre, which cost 9.1 million, opened in 2016 and sits at the heart of one of Manchester’s most diverse and thriving areas. Offering superb leisure facilities, library services, free wifi and a suite of PCs alongside study space and a well-stocked children’s book area, the centre offers a fully accessible service to the Levenshulme community.

With weekly Tiny Tots and Toddler Time sessions, free swimming for over-60s, year-round, and for those under 17 in the school holidays, there’s plenty to occupy those busy bodies, and minds, throughout the whole year.
