Fallowfield Community Library

An open book on a table

Fallowfield Community Library is a shining example of the power of community. The library was on the brink of closure in 2013, until more than 80 volunteers stepped in to help run the centre. Now, alongside book borrowing, the library offers a range of activities from knitting club to language classes.

Led by passionate volunteers, the centre continues to deliver a wide range of activities, services, educational courses and events, which can be enjoyed by people of all ages throughout the week.

With children’s story times, homework club for 8-16 year olds, craft clubs and IT sessions, the library is at the heart of Fallowfield community life.
