House of Books & Friends is an independent bookshop, café and events space on King Street in Manchester city centre.

Created to bring people together, it’s a welcoming place to browse a carefully chosen range of books, enjoy a coffee and take part in regular events, book clubs and community meet-ups. All profits are reinvested into tackling loneliness and building connection.

Accessible toilet facilities are available, with step-free access via a temporary ramp.
