Manchester Art Gallery

Manchester Art Gallery is free and is open to everyone. It has one of the best art collections in the country and there is plenty of things to see and do that will inspire and interest you.

The gallery offers a wide range of events, from exhibitions, tours and talks to creative activities for children and grown-ups.

View pre-Raphaelite paintings, craft and design and early 20th-century British art. There are also regularly changing exhibitions about themes relevant to today’s issues, by well-known artists or on tour from other galleries in the country or abroad.

Families and young children can take part in free Creative Family sessions in the Lion’s Den (Clore Art Studio) located on the ground floor Gallery 1. Artist guidance and materials are provided and all sessions are different.

With great visitor facilities and full disabled access Manchester Art Gallery is a lovely place to spend time – on your own or with others.

Go and see for yourself.
