Manchester Regional Arena

The Regional Athletics Arena was originally the warm-up track for the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Consisting of indoor and outdoor track and field facilities, the centre is a great sporting resource for the local community.

The outdoor track, with covered seating for 6,500 spectators, is used as the venue for the Paralympic World Cup, the AAA’s annual National Athletics Trials and a whole host of regional athletics events.

With an 8-lane 400 metre outdoor track and an indoor athletics hall, the arena regularly welcomes school and community sporting events. Sale Harriers, Belle Vue Racers and Manchester Kestrels also regularly make use of the centre’s fantastic amenities.
