Situated in Chorlton, opposite the Merseybank Avenue shops, Barlow Moor Community Library is housed inside the Barlow Moor Community Association building.

Due to the help from a superb team of volunteers, the library is open 27 hours a week, including Saturday mornings. Alongside free wifi and computer access, we love that you can order and collect any book from the extensive Manchester Libraries’ catalogue here too.

There’s a wide range of health and wellbeing activities for the local community to get involved in. Why not flex those muscles with a free six-week introduction to Zumba? Or borrow a mat and limber up for a free yoga class? We love that the centre has activities for all ages, offering a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and try something new.

A real community hub for Chorlton, the centre also offers reading groups and children’s activity sessions amongst its regular events.
