Based just 300 metres from Piccadilly Station, under the Mancunian Way, Projekts MCR Skatepark is one of the best constructed skateparks in the UK. With two sections, a 400 square metre wooden park and a 900 square metre concrete area, the park is perfect for skates, BMX, scooters and blades.

The centre prides itself on providing a safe skating environment to those who regularly travel on wheels, and for those who are experiencing the skate world for the first time. Welcoming and friendly, the park offers skate coaching courses for children and young people. With a great atmosphere and awesome mentors, the skatepark offers weekly sessions and school holiday clubs.

Most impressively, the park introduces over 3000 children a year to skating, hosts female-only classes and adults’ skating sessions. We think Projekts Skatepark is an amazing piece of urban design and definitely worth a visit.
