Royal Northern College of Music

The Royal Northern College of Music is temporarily closed to the public.

Presenting more than 400 concerts each year, the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is an internationally acclaimed conservatoire and performance venue.

With four impressive performance spaces, including a fully-equipped theatre, a stunning concert hall and a 150-seater Forman Lecture Theatre, the RNCM delivers an eclectic programme of classical music, opera and jazz. With performances from the college’s own acclaimed student ensembles to large-scale productions from top international professionals, the RNCM consistently attracts the most talented composers, conductors, teachers and students from all over the world.

Making music accessible to everyone, the RNCM offers some great opportunities for families and young people to enjoy too. Their outreach programme – RNCM Engage – brings family-friendly concerts, the Young Company musical theatre group for teens and the Young Projects series for young people aged 5-18 years old.
