The Bridgewater Hall

An orchestra on stage in a theatre

Innovative and beautifully designed around its acoustic needs, the Hall is arguably one of Manchester’s most significant cultural landmarks. Featuring a state-of-the-art 2400 seat auditorium, the Bridgewater Hall is home to the world-renowned Hallé Orchestra and the BBC Philharmonic as well as the Hallé Choir, and the Hallé Youth Orchestra and Youth Choir. The venue hosts over 280 performances a year and attracts the biggest names in classical music, rock, jazz and world music.

Whether you’re a community group, a school or an individual, there are plenty of ways to get involved with the work of the hall too. With regular Music Makers sessions for babies and toddlers, pre-concert family workshops and monthly musical discovery sessions for young people with additional needs, there’s plenty for musicians of all ages to enjoy.
