Part of the Manchester School of Art at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), The Holden Gallery houses ongoing art exhibitions. Admission is free and the gallery is open to everybody.

With a rich history dating back over one hundred years, The Holden Gallery offers a varied collection of contemporary art.

With a fully curated exhibitions programme, the gallery’s exhibitions often focus on more recent developments in the art world. Showcasing work from established artists and mid-career artists, the gallery is also proud to host the MMU’s yearly BA and MA degree shows too.
