Venture Arts is a visual arts centre for adults and young people with learning disabilities. Working alongside disabled people, the centre delivers in excess of 1000 professionally-led visual arts workshops every year. Venture Arts also runs work schemes to support disabled people working and volunteering in cultural and educational organisations.

For over 20 years Venture Arts has been an empowering and creative space in which disabled people make great art and become a valued part of Manchester’s rich artistic culture. As well as participating in a wide variety of artist-led projects, Venture Arts artists also have opportunities to participate in exhibitions and gain work experience in museums and art galleries.

Fun, welcoming and social, the fully-accessible studio is based in Hulme, a stone’s throw away from the city centre.
