Always a vibrant celebration at the start of the year, the Lunar New Year in Manchester sees the city burst with colour and community.
This year, the Lunar New Year begins on Saturday 29 January and welcomes the Year of the Snake.
Beautiful red lanterns will decorate the city centre and the unmissable Dragon Parade will take place on Sunday 2 February. Throughout the whole weekend, there will be plenty of celebrations happening in Chinatown too. Expect live performances, street food, a funfair and much more.
