Aside from the independent shops and cafes on Beech Road and the bustling craft-ale serving bars, there are lots of other things to do near Chorlton.

There’s a beautifully rugged nature reserve running from Chorlton right through to Sale. A haven for wildlife, Sale Water Park and Chorlton Ees is great for summer strolls, cycling and muddy dog walks. Start your walk at Chorlton Water Park or by the nearby Turn Moss Fields in Stretford and see where you end up. Pack a picnic or check out Jackson’s Boat, a cracking little pub along the way, ideal for refueling.

Chorlton has its very own award-winning theatre too. The Edge Theatre and Arts Centre offers theatre, comedy and activity sessions for adults and children. From tap-dancing to ukulele club, there’s always something new to try at The Edge.
