A truly magical setting, Christmas in Manchester really is one of the most wonderful times of the year.

With the European-style Christmas markets popping up across the city and all of the Christmas pantomimes in full swing, it’s hard to resist the sparkle and shine of the big day.

Skate Manchester’s huge, covered ice rink returns to Cathedral Gardens from 25 October – 4 January, and the Christmas Markets open on 7 November. Plus, the heart-warming Christmas Parade takes place on 8 December.

There are also lots of community activities happening throughout December too. With a variety of fun events for all ages – there is something for everyone.
