With the arrival of spring and (slightly) warmer weather, we’re looking forward to more outdoorsy activities in our guide to what’s on in Manchester during March.

Head to one of Manchester’s fantastic parks for a wonderful adventure with nature. With many spring flowers shooting up, Manchester’s green spaces are at their most beautiful this time of year. Get wrapped up, pack a picnic and have fun in the open air.

A highlight in March, Manchester’s Irish Festival and the St Patrick’s Day Parade are great reasons to head into the city centre and join the celebrations. And of course, Mother’s Day falls on the 27 March this year too. Another great reason to make your way into the city and spend some quality time together.
