Summer Reading Challenge with Manchester Libraries

Calling all four to eleven-year-olds! Manchester Libraries have organised many fun-packed activities and events for you to enjoy over the school holidays.

Join the free Summer Reading Challenge running for six weeks throughout the school summer holidays.

This year the Summer Reading Challenge has teamed up with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) for a special nature theme called ‘Wild World Heroes’ focused on the environment and nature.

To take part in the challenge – head to your local library to pick up your free joining pack and start reading books to earn a medal and a certificate. Once you’ve read 6 books you will have completed the Challenge.

There are also lots of other free ‘Wild World Heroes’ activities happening at local libraries across Manchester too. With goody bags and competitions to be had – you might even win a prize.
