The Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations in Manchester

This year marks 70 years since our Queen was crowned, making her the first British king or queen to ever celebrate a Platinum Jubilee.

To honour the occasion, we’ve been given an extra Bank Holiday on Friday 3 June and the late May bank holiday has been moved to Thursday 2 June. This means that many of us will be able to enjoy a four-day weekend of celebration with our family, friends and neighbours.

There are lots of fun events and community activities taking place across Manchester to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Working with our partners across Manchester, we’ve pulled together a guide of events taking place across the city. From litter picks to community fun days, parades and concerts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Let’s celebrate this incredible milestone together.
