Mirfield Community Gardens

The beautiful blossom trees at Mirfield Community Gardens in Blackley.
Mirfield Community Gardens

A lush green oasis sits within the heart of Blackley. Mirfield Community Gardens is a wonderful project run by green-fingered volunteers.

Around 12 years ago, a group of volunteers set about to transform a former garage site into a community garden. As a result of the volunteers’ hard work, the gardens are now a thriving green space. Colourful and bright, they bloom with plants and flowers. You’ll also find fruit trees and vegetable plots here too.

A brilliant space for wellbeing and connecting with others. The gardens are also used for neighbourhood events and birthday parties.

Don’t just take our word for it. Be sure to explore these award-winning community gardens for yourself.
