Heaton Park are hosting a wide variety of activities for Play Day 2024.

There will be lots of fun things to get involved in on the day including planting sessions, giant games, a family litter pick, the ‘Love Exploring’ app, and the new ‘Heritage Hunters’ trail.

You could also have a go at the ’40 Days of Summer Challenge’ – just grab an activity sheet and tick off as many of the challenges as you can. There are also some sessions happening that you can enjoy together: a family-friendly drumming circle at 11:00 am and 11:30 am and a National Play Day-themed Mindfulness session at 2:00 pm.

Additionally, don’t forget to pick up your free ‘Digital Detox‘ activity pack from The Stables Café.

Plus, don’t forget the park has two amazing play areas (North and Lakeside) and a Tots Play area in the courtyard. There’s also a Beach Summer Funfair (additional charges apply).
