Head to Heaton Park to celebrate the start of spring and the launch of Bloomtown with a day of family activities.

Enjoy arts and crafts, poetry walks, storytelling and blossom-themed bike rides through the park. Join Bee Pedal Ready’s Pedal Party by bringing your own bike or borrowing one to decorate and ride.

The launch will also feature a Stories in Bloom poetry walk through Heaton Park’s blooming trees and plants, led by writing-in-nature guides Oak + Pen. This event is ticketed (tickets £1). You can also pick up a free Bloomtown map to discover blossom spots across Manchester.

A relaxed, nature-filled day to welcome spring together.
