Japan Week returns to Manchester this September and you can expect a packed programme celebrating Japanese culture old and new.

You’ll find events taking place at venues across the city including HOME, Aviva Studios, Manchester Museum and Central Library.

Try calligraphy, take part in a tea ceremony, watch anime films, hear live music and sample delicious street food. With artists from Japan and the UK, it’s a brilliant chance to explore, connect and enjoy the rich traditions of Japan without leaving Manchester.
