Don’t miss out on this fascinating open day at Platt Hall this Easter. There will be a range of indoor and outdoor activities taking place for all ages.

Happening inside the Hall will be ‘Opening the Box’ sessions at 11:00 am and 12:00 noon. There are a lot of boxes of historic craft objects and fabrics at Platt Hall – many are from the Manchester art collection. During this activity, you will be able to open a box and have a chat about what you find inside. Sessions are recommended for ages 8+.

At 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm, there will be a ‘Walk the Doll’s House’ activity. Open to all ages, you’ll be able to see a range of doll’s houses and the Platt Hall team will be on hand to answer any questions.

From 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, local henna artist, Nadia Sultana will lead a henna workshop. No need to book, just drop in.

There will also be seed planting happening outside from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. And a Field Station from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, complete with microscopes, so that you can learn more about the creatures and plants living in the grounds of the Hall.
