Join your local ranger in Cavendish Road Park and learn the art of Tataki Zome this February half term.

Tataki Zome is the Japanese art of transferring the dyes from flowers and leaves onto fabric. During this one hour session, you will be provided with all the materials you need to create Tataki Zome artwork. You’ll be able to decorate your own canvas bag using natural materials from Cavendish Road Park.

As Tataki Zome involves the use of rocks to transfer the natural dyes onto fabric, these sessions are only suitable for people over the age of 8 years old. Individuals under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

This event will be weather dependent. For further information and to book your place, please contact madeleine.colledge@manchester.gov.uk’
