The Portico Library, which opened in 1806, is currently undergoing a lot of change.

So, The Portico would like to invite you to Social Refuge to discuss what you’d like to see at the library in the future. Whether you’d like more exhibitions, events, books, or to just find out more about books already there.

Plus, to mark LGBTQ+ History Month, the library will bring some books out from their collection for you to explore.

This event takes place at Social Refuge, 27 Great Ancoats St, Ancoats, Manchester M4 5AJ.
