The Lowry’s galleries will reopen at weekends only from 22 May 2021. Your visit must be booked in advance.

You’ll find The Lowry just a short Metrolink journey from Manchester City Centre. Situated on the waterside at Salford Quays, The Lowry is a brilliant arts centre housing two theatres, art galleries and a studio space. Relaxing and cheerful, the building also offers cafes, bars, a restaurant and a small gift shop.

A great place to visit with family or friends, The Lowry stages a variety of ticketed theatre shows. Whether you’re into world-class dance, toe-tapping musicals or stand-up comedy – there’s always plenty going on here.

Additionally, The Lowry houses an art gallery too. Here you’ll find the largest collection of paintings by the English artist, LS Lowry alongside work by other great artists. Entry to the gallery is free – so why not head down and enjoy the work of one of the country’s favourite artists.

With regularly changing art exhibitions, family fun, school holiday activities and special events, The Lowry is a super day out.

The Lowry galleries will reopen for weekends only from Saturday 22 May. Your visit must be booked in advance.
