Enjoy a day out at the People’s History Museum (PHM) – be sure to check out the 2022 Banner Exhibition. Each banner in the exhibition has been created by people who fought for the rights we have today.

Find out why banners are such an important tool in the fight for change. And also discover more about the groundbreaking protests that have influenced our rights today.

The Museum’s selection for 2022 features the banners that drove LGBT+ equality and the miners’ strike of 1984-85. You’ll also be able to see the banners used in campaigns for women’s rights and disabled people’s activism.

This is a family-friendly exhibition. Suitable for all ages.
