Join The Portico Library at the Manchester Craft and Design Centre for a FREE day of autumn fun. Families can enjoy crafts, games and a creative mono-printing workshop with artist Susan Kane, where you’ll use colour, texture and collage to make your own bright insect artwork. All materials are provided – just wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy.

Explore some of The Portico Library’s beautiful books on butterflies and flowers and pick up a free young person’s guide to help plan your next visit. Active Streets Manchester will also be outside with big outdoor games and safe play areas.

Workshops run every 45 minutes and are free but ticketed, with a suggested £5 donation. Priority places are available from 11:00 am – 12.30 pm for city centre residents.
