A series of creative workshops are taking place to mark the 75th birthday of the NHS. Each workshop will explore people’s experiences of the NHS, health and healthcare.

Workshops will take place at:

Forum Centre Wythenshawe on Monday 18 and 25 March, from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm.
No. 93 (93 Church Lane Harpurhey) on Wednesday 20 and 27 March, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Gorton Hub (27 Garrett Way) on Saturday 13 and 20 April, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Longsight Library on Tuesday 16 & Tuesday 23 April, from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm.

Before enjoying one of the creative workshops, pop down for a cup of tea and a chat. You are invited to share your experiences of the NHS and wishes for its future through creative writing. Sessions are led by skilled artists who will offer tips and prompts. There is also the opportunity to include your work in a Zine (mini-magazine) designed by local artist, Drawn Poorly.

No previous creative experience is needed. Snacks and refreshments will be available and travel expenses can be reimbursed.
