Electric Rosary

This award-winning play brings nuns and robots to the Royal Exchange. Electric Rosary asks what religion really means in the age of digital technology.

Funny and sharp, the play explores the impact of ‘Mary’ a council-funded robot nun within St Grace’s Convent. Practical and surprisingly funny, for some a blessing, for others a curse – could she be the revelation they have all been praying for?
