Góbéfest, the original international urban folk music and dance festival, is back in Manchester this June.
The weekend-long festival celebrates the music, dance, culture, and food and drink from Central and Eastern Europe and beyond. You’ll also find FREE activities, like music and dance workshops, arts and crafts and storytelling, happening in the family tent.
Highlights include a Sunday headline slot from folk singer Rioghnach Connolly & her band Honeyfeet (this is a pay-what-you-feel event).
Established in 2017, Góbéfest has its roots firmly in Transylvania and Hungary, but over the years has expanded its reach to include some of the finest performing artists from all over the UK and Europe.
The three-day-long event will take place in Manchester’s central Cathedral Gardens, close to the National Football Museum.
