Join the People’s History Museum for a screening of Iron Ladies. This powerful film tells the story of the women who supported the 1984–85 Miners’ Strike. Women from coalfield communities across the UK share what life was like during the strike and how they helped keep their communities going.

After the film, stay for a panel discussion with community activist Lorraine Stansbie, chaired by researcher Amy Todd.

A thoughtful evening about standing together, speaking up and creating change.

Certificate 12A.
