This is a workshop that uses our working-class background and upbringing as a starting point for a piece of writing.

Interestingly, when the Portico Library was founded, it would not have been a space for those that are working class. And one of the hardest parts about being a working-class writer is the lack of opportunities.

This workshop brings opportunity. You’ll be able to meet like-minded people and chat about your concerns about being a writer over a cup of tea.
