M13 Youth Project

Working across Ardwick and Longsight, the M13 Youth Project supports and works with over 600 young people a year. The project has been running for a whopping 25 years and aims to support and celebrate young people’s achievements.

You’ll most often find the youth workers from the M13 project out on the streets meeting young people in the community. Built on talking and listening, the project offers a range of experiences for young people. Workshops, accredited learning, community action projects, volunteering and residential trips are amongst some of the activities on offer.

M13 youngsters have also had the opportunity to watch performances at HOME Manchester and the Royal Exchange Theatre. And enjoy adventure sports like caving, canoeing and climbing. The project also offers multi-sports sessions, science clubs and drop-in activity sessions.
