Mother’s Day in Manchester

If a box of chocolates and a brew in bed isn’t cutting it this year, there are plenty of other ways to spoil your mum in Manchester on Mother’s Day.

Also known as Mothering Sunday, Mother’s Day takes place on 19 March this year. A Christian celebration, during Mothering Sunday church services, children are often given a small bunch of flowers to give to their mothers.

Manchester City Centre offers a fantastic choice of places to visit. So you can really show your mum how much you care. Enjoy afternoon teas and walks in the fresh air.

There is plenty to make your mum beam with pride this Mother’s Day.
