Join this fun Family Walk Party on the shortest day of the year and enjoy a gentle winter stroll through Heaton Park. The group will follow the family-friendly Winter Trail up to Heaton Hall, stopping halfway at the Stables Café for an optional hot chocolate and a toilet break, before returning to the Middleton Road entrance.

The walk takes around 45–60 minutes and is free – just turn up.
Meet at 10:50am for an 11am start at the Middleton Road entrance (opposite Bowker Vale Primary School).

The route is smooth and step-free, with one moderate incline.
All ages and friendly dogs on leads are welcome.
Wear comfy shoes and dress for the weather.
