Sharpen your colouring pencils and pop along to Hulme Library for a family-friendly drawing session.

The session will be led by Ian Morris, illustrator of The Library Book. Ian will bring his sketch books and show you how he creates characters in his head and then draws them on the page.

Meanwhile, budding young illustrators (aged between 5 and 16) should take a look at the ‘Design a Library Card’ competition too.
