A thrilling celebration of art, music and theatre, Manchester International Festival (MIF) takes place every two years in different venues across Manchester.

The festival returns in July 2025 and brings new exhibitions, theatre and cultural family events to the city.

Some of the events are free and many of the events are ticketed. However, Manchester International Festival does run a low-cost ticket scheme for local audiences, which is designed to make the events more accessible for people living in Manchester.
