Local author Kimberly Whittam heads to Manchester Central Library to chat about some of the themes – such as confidence and friendships – raised in her book, Quiet Storm.

Young people will spend some time decorating cupcakes, inspired by one of the characters in the book. All materials are provided.

Kimberly has written this year’s ‘transition read’ for those heading to high school in September, so this session is perfect for young people aged 10 – 12. Younger children can also join in.
