Re/Assemble is a new exhibition by Manchester-based arts organisation IAP:MCR, looking at LGBTQIA+ protest, creativity and resilience.

In 1988, more than 20,000 people marched in Manchester against Section 28, a law that banned the “promotion of homosexuality”. This exhibition responds to that moment in history, with new artworks by queer artists shown alongside protest banners and objects from People’s History Museum’s collection.

A powerful, creative exhibition celebrating queer voices, past and present.

Suitable for all ages, under 12s must be accompanied by an adult.
