Join this LGBT+ History Month event for a closer look at Manchester’s queer history, led by the team behind the exhibition Re/Assemble. Choose a morning or afternoon session and explore stories of protest and activism, including the fight against Section 28 and LGBTQIA+ rights.

Enjoy a guided queer history tour of the city, followed by a rare chance to explore original items from the museum’s archives, from 1970s–1990s campaign papers to newspapers and posters.

The event will be led by writer Joshua Val Martin and curator Jez Dolan.
