Manchester Central Library have partnered with the Pankhurst Centre to host a brand new exhibition all about the work of the Pankhurst Trust.

The collection focuses on the history of the Pankhurst Centre and the people who fought to save it from demolition. The Pankhurst Centre is regarded as the birthplace of the suffragette movement.

Take a peek at documents and photographs and hear powerful stories relating to the history of the Pankhurst Trust. You can also watch a film about the volunteers who have worked on the Rooms of our Own project.

Rooms of Our Own is the first of many exhibitions at the brand-new Manchester Histories Hub in Central Library.
