The Elizabeth Gaskell’s House second-hand book sale is a ‘must visit’ for book lovers.

You’ll find two rooms packed full of second-hand books for all ages. Whether you’re into photography, gardening, romance novels or cookery, there are many books to discover. And with new books every month, there are always treasures to be found.

All money raised from the sales of books goes towards running costs and ensuring the House stays open to the public.

Held on the second Sunday of every month.
